Our team brings a broad range of experience across skin, beauty, nails and specialist treatments, with a shared focus on thoughtful care, honest advice and personalised treatment planning.
Amanda - Owner Expert Skin Therapist
Amanda is the owner of Sibu Skin and Beauty and an experienced Skin Therapist with a passion for helping clients understand their skin and achieve realistic, long-term results.
With more than a decade in the beauty industry, Amanda specialises in advanced skin treatments including skin needling, IPL skin rejuvenation and personalised treatment planning. An accredited Dermalogica and Murad Skin Expert, she combines professional treatments, home care and education to create clear treatment pathways tailored to each client’s skin and goals.
Amanda believes great skin treatment is about understanding what the skin needs, choosing treatments for the right reasons and helping clients feel informed and confident throughout the process.
Outside the salon, Amanda enjoys jewellery-making, pottery and other creative projects.
Sasha – Tattoo Removal Specialist
A born-and-bred Canberran, Sasha discovered his passion for laser tattoo removal in 2017. As a tattoo collector himself, he brings a unique perspective to the process and understands both the artistry of tattooing and the very personal reasons someone may decide to remove or lighten a tattoo.
Sasha specialises in laser tattoo removal with a strong focus on precision, skin health and realistic long-term outcomes. His calm, considered approach helps clients understand the process and feel supported throughout what is often a multi-treatment journey.
Outside Sibu, Sasha enjoys bonsai, pottery and looking after his ever-growing collection of little trees, along with spending time with his two Dachshunds.
Jess – Expert Skin and Beauty Therapist
Jess brings more than 20 years of beauty industry experience to Sibu Skin and Beauty, with extensive knowledge of professional skin treatments and advanced skin solutions.
She takes a highly personalised approach to treatment planning, working with clients to understand their skin concerns, priorities and goals before developing a realistic pathway forward. Jess has experience treating a broad range of concerns including healthy ageing, pigmentation, sensitivity, dehydration and acne.
She believes great skin is built through consistency, education and the right combination of professional treatment and home care.
Jess’s depth of industry knowledge, warm nature and calm, considered approach help clients feel comfortable, supported and confident in their treatment choices.
Cassie – Expert Skin and Beauty Therapist
Cassie began her professional beauty career in 2020 after discovering a love of the industry from a young age. Since completing her Diploma of Beauty Therapy, she has developed experience across skin treatments, waxing, nails, massage and a wide range of beauty services.
An accredited Dermalogica and Murad Skin Expert, Cassie particularly enjoys LED treatments and creating treatment experiences that combine visible skin benefits with genuine relaxation.
She brings a calm, nurturing approach to her appointments and is committed to continually developing her knowledge and skills so she can provide thoughtful, personalised care for each client.
Outside Sibu, Cassie enjoys shopping, spending time with her family, travelling when she can and heading to the beach to recharge.
Linda Senior Skin and Beauty Therapist
Returning Sept 2026 - Linda has been part of Sibu Skin and Beauty since 2016 and is one of our longest-standing team members. With more than a decade in the beauty industry, she began her professional beauty career in 2011 after seven years as a dance teacher and performer — a background reflected in her precision, confidence and natural connection with clients.
During her time at Sibu, Linda has worked across multiple roles, including Salon Manager, and is now a highly respected Senior Skin Therapist. She has a particular passion for advanced skin treatments and is known for delivering thoughtful, results-focused care with genuine attention to detail.
Linda works at Sibu on Tuesdays, bringing a wealth of experience and the warm, professional approach her long-standing clients know and trust.
Tracey – Senior Skin and Beauty Therapist
(Red Hill | Saturdays) - Tracey is a highly experienced Senior Skin and Beauty Therapist and Beauty Educator with decades of industry experience. Having previously owned and operated her own salon, she brings extensive practical knowledge across skin, beauty therapy and client care.
Alongside her work at Sibu Skin and Beauty, Tracey works in beauty education, supporting and mentoring the next generation of industry professionals. Her approach is grounded in strong fundamentals, skin health and thoughtful treatment choices rather than doing more simply for the sake of doing more.
At Sibu’s Red Hill clinic on Saturdays, Tracey brings a calm, confident presence and a depth of knowledge across both skin and beauty services.
Outside the salon, she enjoys spending time with her dogs, her family and embracing life as a nan.
Caitlyn - Nail Technician & Salon Coordinator
Caitlyn is Sibu Skin and Beauty’s Nail Technician and Salon Coordinator, combining her creative work with an important role supporting the day-to-day flow of the salon.
As a Nail Technician, she specialises in detailed nail art and structured nail extensions. She has a strong eye for detail and enjoys working closely with clients to create personalised designs while maintaining high standards of nail health, cleanliness and longevity.
As Salon Coordinator, Caitlyn also supports front-of-house operations, client flow and the behind-the-scenes organisation that helps keep Sibu running smoothly.
Outside the salon, Caitlyn enjoys staying active, spending time with friends and family, and continuing to develop her skills within the nail industry.
