HydraFacial is suitable for most skin types, however there are situations where treatment may need to be postponed or modified to ensure safety and the best results. Contraindications or situations requiring caution may include:
Pregnancy or breastfeeding (some boosters or acids may be avoided)
Recent sunburn, active infection, cold sores or broken skin
Use of prescription acne medication such as isotretinoin (Roaccutane) within the last 6 months
Recent cosmetic procedures including injectables, chemical peels, laser or surgery within recommended wait periods
