How Does HydraFacial Work?
HydraFacial uses a specialised treatment device to progressively cleanse, exfoliate, extract and hydrate the skin.
The treatment combines gentle resurfacing with suction-assisted extraction and the delivery of hydrating treatment solutions into the skin.

What to Expect
HydraFacial is generally a comfortable treatment.
During the extraction stage you may feel gentle suction as the treatment tip moves across the skin. The treatment is performed progressively, with each stage preparing the skin for the next.
Deluxe and Platinum HydraFacial also include LED Therapy, while Platinum begins with lymphatic drainage.
Skin commonly looks brighter, smoother and more hydrated immediately after treatment. Temporary mild redness, sensitivity, warmth or tightness may occur depending on your skin and the components used.

Avoid deliberately irritating or over-exfoliating your skin before your appointment, and follow any specific preparation advice provided by your therapist.
After Your HydraFacial
Your skin may feel slightly warm, sensitive or tight immediately after treatment, although most clients experience little to no downtime.
Keep your skin hydrated and protected, use SPF daily and avoid unnecessary irritation or strong active skincare until your skin is comfortable.
If your treatment included a specific booster or additional component, your therapist will provide any additional instructions required.

HydraFacial may not be suitable, or your treatment may need to be modified, if you have:
active cold sores, open wounds or broken skin in the treatment area
an active skin infection or significant inflammation
moderate to severe dermatitis, eczema or psoriasis in the treatment area
significant sunburn or recently irritated skin
recently had an aggressive peel, laser, resurfacing or other advanced skin treatment
recently used prescription or topical medications that may increase skin sensitivity
a known allergy or sensitivity to ingredients used during the treatment
a medical or skin condition that may affect treatment suitability or healing
Pregnancy or breastfeeding may affect which boosters, exfoliating solutions or additional treatment components are appropriate.
