Amanda - Expert Skin Therapist and Owner of Sibu Skin and Beauty
Amanda’s passion for beauty therapy began with a simple belief: great skin treatments don’t just change skin — they change confidence. Having navigated her own journey with self-image and mental health, she understands the power of self-care and believes everyone deserves to feel comfortable and confident in their skin.
With over a decade of experience, Amanda specialises in advanced skin treatments including skin needling and IPL skin rejuvenation. She is known for combining modalities to achieve long-lasting, results-driven outcomes, and for creating clear, supportive treatment pathways so clients always feel informed and confident in their skin journey. An accredited Dermalogica and Murad Skin Expert, she is committed to results-driven, education-led skin treatments.
Her proudest achievement has been building Sibu Skin & Beauty into a thriving, multi-location salon and mentoring a team of skilled, confident therapists. For Amanda, beauty therapy is never “just beauty” — it’s about skin health, confidence, and overall wellbeing.
Outside the salon, Amanda enjoys creative pursuits such as jewellery-making and pottery, and continues to dream big — growing Sibu into a leading salon group that redefines how beauty therapy is valued in Australia.
Linda Senior Skin and Therapist
(Currently on maternity leave)
Linda has been part of the Sibu family since 2016 and is one of our longest-standing team members. With over a decade in the beauty industry, she began her professional career in 2011 after seven years as a dance teacher and performer — a background that shines through in her precision, confidence, and warm client connection.
During her time at Sibu, Linda has worked across multiple roles, including Salon Manager, and is now a highly respected Senior Therapist and Skin Expert. She has a particular passion for advanced skin treatments and is known for delivering thoughtful, results-driven care with genuine attention to detail.
Linda is currently on maternity leave with her third child and looks forward to returning to the salon, where she’ll continue balancing her role across both locations with the same professionalism and care she’s known for.
Lucy - Salon Manager and Expert Skin Therapist
Saturdays only
Lucy’s love for beauty began with makeup and her own experiences of how skin can influence confidence. She entered the industry in 2022 after completing her Diploma of Beauty Therapy and quickly discovered a passion for the variety the role offers — from precision waxing and nail services to indulgent facials and massage.
She has a strong interest in skincare, Biosculpture nails, and detailed brow shaping, and is especially drawn to advanced skin treatments such as dermaplaning and chemical peels. Lucy personally enjoys skin needling and hydrodermabrasion as part of her own skin maintenance routine. An accredited Dermalogica and Murad Skin Expert, she is committed to results-driven, education-led skin treatments.
As Salon Manager, Lucy plays a key leadership role at Sibu, supporting both team performance and client experience. She is inspired by strong, values-led leadership and industry professionals who combine technical excellence with business vision.
Outside the salon, Lucy enjoys good food, shopping, and spending time with family and friends. Looking ahead, she dreams of owning her own beauty business and expanding into advanced treatments such as Ombre brows, while combining her career with travel and continued learning.
Caitlyn - Nail Technician & Salon Coordinator
Caitlyn is Sibu Skin & Beauty’s Nail Technician, specialising in detailed nail art and structured nail extensions. With a creative eye and a steady hand, she loves transforming nails into personalised, wearable art while maintaining high standards of nail health and longevity.
She is particularly passionate about nail extensions, intricate designs, and custom finishes, and enjoys working closely with clients to bring their ideas to life. Caitlyn takes pride in precision, cleanliness, and consistency, ensuring every set not only looks beautiful but feels comfortable and lasts well.
Alongside her nail services, Caitlyn also supports the salon as a Coordinator, assisting with daily operations, front-of-house flow, and maintaining a polished, welcoming environment. Her dual role allows her to contribute both creatively and operationally, helping the salon run smoothly behind the scenes.
Outside the salon, Caitlyn enjoys staying active, spending time with friends and family, and finding balance between creativity and routine. She’s passionate about growing her skills in the nail industry and takes pride in being a reliable, grounded presence within the Sibu team.
Maria - Skin and Beauty Therapist
Maria has had a lifelong passion for beauty, making a career in the industry a natural choice. After completing her beauty diploma, she began her journey at Sibu Skin & Beauty, where she’s been able to turn that passion into work she truly loves.
She finds it deeply rewarding to enhance natural beauty and witness the confidence it brings to clients. Her favourite treatments are lash lifts and brow shaping — simple yet transformative services that create instant impact. Maria also enjoys working with advanced skin treatments and is excited to continue developing her skills in skin rejuvenation and targeted skin health programs. An accredited Dermalogica and Murad Skin Expert, she is committed to results-driven, education-led skin treatments.
Inspired by industry leaders known for both technical excellence and entrepreneurial drive, Maria thrives in Sibu’s supportive team environment, where growth and learning are encouraged. Completing her diploma and starting her career at Sibu remains one of her proudest achievements.
Outside the salon, Maria enjoys great food, time with friends and family, and unwinding at the gym or with music. Looking ahead, she dreams of opening her own salon — a welcoming space where confidence, care, and connection come together.
Sasha – Tattoo Removal Specialist
A born-and-bred Canberran, Sasha discovered his passion for laser tattoo removal in 2017. As a tattoo collector himself, he brings a unique and respectful perspective to his work — understanding both the artistry and the personal stories behind every tattoo.
Sasha specialises in safe, effective tattoo removal using advanced laser technology, with a strong focus on skin health, precision, and long-term results. His calm, considered approach helps clients feel supported and confident throughout their removal journey.
Outside the salon, Sasha enjoys creative and grounding hobbies including bonsai, pottery, and caring for his ever-growing collection of little trees. He also loves spending time with his two Dachshunds and his wife, Amanda.
Cassie – Senior Skin and Beauty Therapist
Cassie discovered her passion for beauty therapy at just 15, inspired by her love of makeup and the confidence it can create. In 2020, she officially began her professional journey, completing her beauty diploma and gaining experience across a wide range of treatments — from waxing and nail care to indulgent facials and massage.
Her favourite services to perform are pedicures and LED facials, where she can combine relaxation with results. Cassie loves creating a calm, nurturing experience for clients and is always eager to learn, refine her skills, and expand her knowledge. An accredited Dermalogica and Murad Skin Expert, she is committed to results-driven, education-led skin treatments.
She draws daily inspiration from her mum’s commitment to personal growth and lifelong learning — values she brings into her own career. Completing her beauty diploma remains one of her proudest milestones.
Outside of work, Cassie loves burritos, shopping, and spending quality time with her mum. A self-described introvert with a big heart and a soft spot for animals, she dreams of travelling the world and one day opening her own beauty salon. The beach is her go-to place to recharge.
Tracey – Senior Skin and Beauty Therapist
(Red Hill | Saturdays)
Tracey is a highly experienced Senior Beauty Therapist and Hair & Beauty Educator with decades of industry experience. She previously owned and operated her own salon before choosing to slow down and focus on education, client care, and a more balanced pace — her version of slowing down, of course.
Alongside her work at Sibu Skin & Beauty, Tracey teaches Hair and Beauty with TAFE NSW across multiple regions, supporting and mentoring the next generation of industry professionals. Her approach is grounded in strong fundamentals, skin health, and education-led treatment choices.
Now working with clients at Sibu’s Red Hill salon on Saturdays, Tracey brings a calm, confident presence and a depth of knowledge across all areas of beauty therapy. Outside the salon, she loves spending time with her dogs and embracing life as a new nan — focusing on family, balance, and the things that matter most.

Dermalogica captured my heart from the very beginning, when it was still independently owned by Jane Wurwand. Jane’s vision was clear: a brand created by women, for women — dedicated to elevating professional skin therapists through education, independence, and entrepreneurship.
That philosophy of empowerment and support mirrors what I’ve built here at Sibu Skin and Beauty: a space where women lift each other up, grow professionally and for our clients personally, and create lasting impact together.
For me, Dermalogica is more than a product partner — it’s a shared mission. It inspires not only our team but also, our aim, our clients, who are empowered to feel stronger, more confident, and more at home in their own skin.

Sibu Skin & Beauty is a full-service salon specialising in advanced skin treatments, beauty services, and relaxation therapies. Our menu includes facials, advanced skin therapies (IPL, laser, HIFU, HydraFacial, peels), massage, nails, waxing, tinting, brows, spray tanning, and body sculpting treatments.

How can I make an appointment?
You can easily book online, give us a call, or visit your nearest salon in person.
What are your opening hours?
We are open Tuesday to Saturday. Hours vary slightly by location and season, so please check online or call us for current times and public holiday updates.
How much do your services cost?
For detailed pricing, please see our online treatment menu. Prices may vary depending on the therapist and service selected.
Do you offer any packages or discounts?
We don’t run traditional discounts. Instead, we design treatment packages and memberships that deliver the best value while protecting the integrity of your results. You’ll find seasonal offers and exclusive packages released throughout the year — check our promotions page or ask our team in-salon for the latest options.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, all major credit cards, Afterpay, Zippay, and Best Spas gift vouchers.
Do you have policies for clients with allergies or sensitivities?
Yes. Please advise us of any allergies or skin sensitivities when booking or before your treatment. Our therapists will adapt your service to ensure your safety and comfort.
Can I bring my children with me?
Children are welcome, but must be supervised at all times. Please keep in mind that many treatments — facials, massages, body therapies, are focused on deep relaxation. If the music is soft and calming, it means someone nearby is enjoying serious downtime. Thank you for helping us maintain a peaceful environment for every client.
What aftercare should I follow after my treatment?
You’ll receive personalised aftercare instructions for each treatment. Please consult your therapist directly for tailored guidance.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
We understand plans change. Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid a cancellation fee.
