Skin needling rejuvenates and replenishes skin to reveal a newer, clearer and healthier skin.

The Value and Versatility of Skin Needling:

As an advanced skin needling system, the Dermal Pen PRO, engages a pen-like device that is used by our experienced skin specialists to effectively treat a range of skin concerns including acne, surgical scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, stretch marks, pigmentation, skin laxity and more.

What does skin needling do?

Using tiny needles to inflict controlled micro wounds to the epidermal and dermal layers, the Dermal Pen PRO kickstarts the skin’s natural healing mechanism, creating new collagen and elastin to replace damaged skin cells. This is known as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT). Clinical skin needling provides amazing results achieved with a simple course of treatments. with customers, especially those afflicted with acne scarring, and it is a versatile treatment that not only treats the facial region, but the body as well.

The difference between Dermal Pen PRO and dermal rollers:

Dermal Pen PRO is a mechanised skin needling pen, offering adjustable treatment depth, minimal bleeding and less epidermal trauma when compared to a traditional dermal roller. Manual dermal rollers are now an outdated way of conducting CIT.

Does it hurt?

Everyone has a different pain threshold. However, most people who have a course of skin needling find that there is little to no discomfort depending on the area being treated and the depth of the targeted treatment.

Is there down time?

No! There is no down time. However, you can experience some redness and blood spotting so we do not recommend having the treatment the day of or before an important event. It is ideal to do a course of skin needling leading up to a special event.

How many treatments do I need?

The recommended course of treatments varies for the skin concern being treated and the area being treated. This will be discussed in your consultation and a customised treatment plan can be designed for you. Skin needling can be perfectly paired up with LED treatments as well.
